Voices of Christ Literary Ministries International (VOC) is a very unique ministry. The Lord has established us as a present day prophetic School of the Scribe where Christian writers can learn Father’s original intent and purpose for their scribal ministries in the earth. While learning to publish work, speak before audiences and fine tune your writing is important, we firmly believe that helping solidify one’s soul in Christ far outweighs the cosmetics of outward display ministry. It is for this reason that the Lord has called VOC to focus exclusively on assisting the scribe with building a strong IDENTITY & FOUNDATION in Christ as they move forward in ministry.

 

VOC ignites nurtures, develops and launches the Lord’s prophetic scribes into their destiny and purpose. The ministry serves as a mid-wife in the Kingdom – pushing you to excel in Holy Spirit living while standing as an arm of accountability in this unique and often rarely respected area of ministry.

As a corporate ministry, we encourage scribes to walk in the resurrection power and the resurrection of authority in the release of their gifting – whether it’s inside the local church or abroad in the world. We go into the places where HOPE is needed to encourage, uplift and reconcile the hearts of men back to the Father. In addition, VOC is a place of safety, security and acceptance where it is okay to be who the Lord has UNIQUELY called you to be.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

Membership in Voices of Christ is open to poets, spoken word artists, novelists, playwrights, song writers, devotionalists, children’s book writers, administrative and instructional writers and others writers who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Members are those who:

1. Believe in the complete bible - Old & New Testaments
2. Uphold our Faith Statement
3. Have a heart for evangelism to the lost, the unchurched & the church
4. Are ready to embark upon teaching and administering the gospel to the body using their gifting
5. Desire to participate in missions, community service and outreach
6. Have a passion and deep desire to glorify and uplift the name of Jesus
7. Commit to completing at least one manuscript by the end of your membership year
8. Are willing to mentored by Prophetess Theresa Johnson and the VOC leadership

Application & Fees:

We do not have an application for membership process per se, but we do use the information collected on your membership form to help us get to know you better, keep in touch and to assist you with moving to next level in your prophetic call to write the creative word of the Lord. We are not a performance or entertainment group where members are booked to perform -- but an equipping ministry. The Lord has charged us with being a vehicle to help prophetic writers advance their scribal ministries by the Spirit. We provide opportunities for these writers to exercise their ministry gifts through teaching, worship and praise at various ministry events throughout the year that we either host or participate in. We CANNOT charge for the administration of the Gospel, however, we do access a ministry fee/donation with our membership application. This fee serves as your first seed into the ministry. Our hope in doing this is that you will have seed in the ground from which your increase will come as the Lord uses the mantle upon VOC to be a blessing in your life.

By joining, you become a member of the Voices of Christ Nationally. Should you desire to connect with a local chapter, an additional yearly seed offering may also been requested at the discretion of that chapter or regional director. The national membership donation is $50/individual and $95/group rate, renewable annually. (Gifts are not tax deductible.)

By joining, you will be able to:

1. Receive discounts or free access to teleclasses, webinars or satellite classes, retreats and events held throughout the year;
2. Receive special discounts on VOC teaching materials and products;
3. Receive assistance from regional, state or even national directors concerning your writing projects, publishing initiatives, etc.;
4. Contact varying VOC regions for assistance with setting up book events for your project;
5. Have an opportunity to submit your published book for review;
6. Get assist with preparing your manuscript for publishing;
7. Come on board as a Staff Writer for Esdras Scroll or as a Book Reviewer;
8. Get assistance with editing your book project from a professional, spirit-filled copy editor in covenant with this ministry;
9. Get assistance with moving your completed manuscript to the publishing process through a publisher in covenant with this ministry;
10. Participate in our Immersion Mentoring & Intercessory Prayer Calls for VOC members only;
11. Connect with regional directors in your area if applicable; and/or learn how to launch a chapter in your area;
12. Access our growing database of resources specifically on prophetic writing through our website's Resource Library. For more information, please visit the House of Rolls on the main menu.
13. Get assistance with your writing project from VOC leadership;

** After joining, you will receive a membership packet by email within six weeks and a phone call from one of our directors. The welcome letter will include your username and password to access the Members Only Section of the website
